Connection A few weeks ago, we got a message from Shaw saying that too many people were uploading files from our library on Limewire at once, so we had to change the settings to fix this problem. Ever since I have made those changes, Limewire lose's it's connection quickly and shuts down by itself from time to time. When I looked at the e-mail Shaw sent me about the changes, they didn't seem to have anything to do with connection, just limiting the number of uploads.. any suggestions? |

I think from memory, Shaw will pick on individual users. They may be targetting your be either shaping your speeds or stopping you from connecting. See ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire (check 5th post.) They can achieve this by using a special program that detects LW & filters or blocks it. |
