Limewire downloads no longer appearing in Itunes Library
 

up until 2-2-06 I was able to download songs in Limewire version 4.9.37 and they would automatically show up in my Itunes version 6.0.2 (23) library on my G5 mac.

today 2-4-06 i downloaded several audio songs and they are only showing up in the shared file, no where in my itunes sources. I now find myself having to go into itunes and manually adding to the library.

i want the old way back, where it automatically shows up when the song finished downloading and I click clear inactive in Limewire.

What happened??? Help!

I've personally found that if LW is especially busy & has been running for a day or few, then iTunes sometimes stops importing. The answer it to close LW & re-open it. Things should go back to normal after that.

Make sure iTunes importing is still enabled within LW. ie: LW prefs>iTUnes>Importing.

If still problems, try deleting your LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed, found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

BTW do you use the new intell G5 or one of the other G5's?

my G5 is one year old, so not the new ones with the Intel chips.
