Default Need Info on Ipod or Dell DJ15 MP3 devices

Want to buy one but can't figure out from the pictures about the dials on the Dell. Are they not like the Ipod? I have seen the Ipods and used them. The Dell looks more mechanical. Can't tell.

How do I get music on the Dell device from my MP3s on my computer? Don't want to get something that I can't use.

What would be a better choice. Dell or Ipod or are they just about the same?

How does hard drive storage compare with memory storage?

Any of this info would help.

I'm not especially in the know. We use iPods here. My brother uses an iRiver.

Here's one such discussion: http://www.delldjsite.com/forums/arc...hp/t-2155.html

Put this into a google search & see what you get: ipod versus dell DJ15

Quote: Dell will implement Microsoft's® Digital Rights Management technology, code-named Janus, and Media Transfer Protocol. The new technologies support legal downloads and secure transfer of digital music from any device or online service.
New DJ Size and weight
4.0" x 2.4" x .74"
6.8 oz

4th gen 20GB ipod:
4.1" x 2.4" x 0.57"
5.6 oz

At least some of the dell players use MusicMatch to manage their music library. DJ DRM disallows importing of copyright material without permissions AFAI undertand it.
