Not quite true
If you have partially downloaded (and masnually stopped it) or previewed a file, you may have some incriminating evidence left in your incomplete directory.

dont forget 1 biggy!

I got court by the misses on this one...

once you have viewed a file make sure you delete it from the documents section on your start menu!

when i was younger i used to create a folder, place everything in it and then under properties make it a hidden folder.
(to 'see' the folder simply change options to view hidden folders)

Very simple and effective, depends on how much your dad knows about computers though

plus that was on windows 95 i dunno what XP is like

Default hiding porn

Best thing is to search the computer for all mpeg, mpg, jpg, video and whatever. See if you dad has a hidden file folder. Look at his stuf first. Then you can move your stuff into his files if they are large and he will think it is his stuff.

You can do the same type search for anything you D/L and delete it. Remember detlete does noy make it all go away. You may need to empty the wastebasket too. If you are going to get into it you better download a program that will clean your computer files. That is scrub / shred the deleted stuff. If you read these boards you will see that people can download files to retrieve the deleted stuff.

If I were a savy teen again I would search for words like 'PORN', "illegal" might get you more than you bargined for so be careful. There are worst things than kiddy porn... If you D/L "FACES OF DEATH" you will find the grusome video of your life. Just typing in "IRAQ" or Marines will show close up death and distruction.

Oh, you will find that a lot of people rename the files to sound like wicked sex and are quite tame.

How do I know this??? Well I repaired a lot of teen computers when they jam up and find that a lot of girls are into the young sex sites and videos.... Girls don't seem to delete just add until the file is full.

No I don't tell the parents what I find. I don't want them to get the keyboard sticky. It is fun to see the girls blush however when you hint that you found something to them. Oh be sure to click on the video block before you search. The audio one will get you a lot of nasty stuff from popular singers too. They make Lenny Bruce sound like a minister...

If you click on the 'start' menu. go to 'documents' and all your recently viewed files will be named! even if you delete the file you will still see the name of it in this menu!

for example, if you open up a porno called '**** and ***' and then delete it. your father will still see the name of the file under 'documents'.
