Not exactly, and I have tried at times to browse a friend with no firewall problems at either end with success, yet they cannot browse me.

If you hide yourself behind a lan connection or certain types of firewall you will probably stop them browsing you, but the reason you can't browse them is probably that they have the same sort of problems at their end.

If you were both to restart Limewire the situation could be resolved, or reversed.


In short.. Browse host is not an exact science
