Why is Limewire messing w/my clock?

Why does Limewire slowly but continuously set my clock faster? My clock ends up about 10 minutes too fast for every few hours that Limewire is running. And when I set it back to the correct time, the Limewire UI freezes (ie. stops updating everything) for several minutes?

Never seen or heard of this before :confused:

More details (like those suggested in the forum rules) needed, because there's nothing in LW that can affect the clock AFAIK.
