I don't really know if this applies to mac, but I had the same problem using Windows. I solved the problem by making Windows allow my internet connection more simultainious connections and now the problem is gone. 10 was default there and it didn't really help until I set it at 40+ ending up at 65

Try only allowing 1 or 2 downloads at a time in Limewire, and then try browsing to see if thats your problem as well

Hmm where would you change that? In some control panel on windows? I wonder if there is a similar mac thing.

In Windows someone has made a patch that overrides the security measures. I couldn't access it without it.

In windows it is called TCPIP.SYS

I found this using Google, so your mac probably uses something similar. Didn't find a cure though

3. What is error -3221?

The TCP/IP software on your Macintosh is not able to make connections. Perhaps you aren't dialed in, or there's a problem with the settings in the TCP/IP control panel.

I am not a mac person, so I have no idea how or where to change it. Lets just hope that you are allowed to do that.
:)
