can someone pls help me im new to lime wire and dont yet have pro. im currently on dial up and having trouble downloading movies. is there any way i can download movies faster? iv tried to download a few and after an hour its still at 0% it takes me an hour and a half to 2 hrs to download one song can anyone please help me? |

Your speed's always going to be a big factor! Also the connection type/speed of the host you're downloading from. Try to download a file with multiple sources & as many stars as possible. Just stick to downloading one file at a time. Often, using the All Types search will give you better search results & so more choices for downloading. To add to what birdy said getting Pro won't help your d/l speeds any, wait till you get a faster connection(cable or dsl). You can set-up limewire to make the best of your connection. Follow LOTR's and Grandpa's tips in this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=48906
