how do I get this file to play???

It is an avi file with the code HDTV.Xvid-XOR.

I tried to play it in my Win Media Player but it just gives me an error message.

Do I need a plug in? Where can I get it?

You might not have the right codecs. See this link to different codecs & alternative players
