About to purchase Pro, but having problems with regular.
 

I have been a long time LW user. I'm talking years back during the napster days. And Ive decided to purchase LW Pro but then my regular version started acting up on me. It was working before (last night actually :)) and starting today when I would load up LW it would freeze. The LW client window is all white and sometimes all grey and I wont be able to see or do anything. And if I right click > exit in my task bar. LW would close and my computer would freeze up and crash. I have tryed the java 5.0 update 6 along with LW 4.10 client. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't get Pro if the Basic isn't working.

I'm on a Mac, so can't help a Windows user much. Still, did you check out the stickies, especially any relating to reinstalling java?

I figured it out. What was happening was LW isnt compatable with the anti-aliasing on my video card (geforce 6800gs). So if I change the AA to 'application controlled', LW starts up perfectly. This should be stickyed somewhere because someone else had the same problem and he had a geforce 7800. Maybe we can get this fixed in an update?
