no more music!

I need help!!!.....Im trying to download more music from limewire........but it's not working and the little icons and arrows at the bottom of the screen on the left had side....aren't moving like they used to.
what do i do?

A little more detail is needed please. What version of Limewire do you have? Where did you get it? And what OS are you running and, have you checked your system for viruses lately?

Sounds like you're getting disconnected from Limewire. Make sure you're internet connection is on while you're downloading & that you're ISP isnt disconnecting you for being idle if on dialup.

i've downloaded the limewire program from the limewire homepage.....on their website.....i went to google......went to limewire and got it there.
I've got broadband internet connection and it is always running whilst i am trying to download.
I've got windows 2000, so i don't see a problem with any of these things.
I'm not sure whether i should open an entirely new folder or erase limewire from my computer's memory and start over.

Ok, by google it, you mean limewire.com right? If all else fails and it still is causing problems, then you might be better off trying a fresh install. Uninstall LW and delete all the leftover folders, reboot your computer & reinstall it fresh.


Have you read the forums stickys yet? If not, you might want to take a peak at them, they are filled with lots of useful info on Limewire.

Also, check what version of Java you are running.
