Hi,

I was jus wondering... How is that my ISP's firewall doesnt block IE from accessing the HTTP Proxy server at port 80 but it blocks my limewire? They installed McFee Firewall or sumthing and now Im not able to connect to the Gnutella network.

Port 80 is normally used for hosting a web site. ISP's will often block this port if you don't have permission from them to host a web page/site. If you're looking for an alternative firewall to connect thru then try one between (49152 - 65535)

You should be able to adjust your firewall settings to allow for P2P use & make sure your ISP isnt blocking P2P programs. Are you using it in school or at home? If at school, you might be out of luck, if at home, you should be able to allow it through.
