wrong confirmation e-mail address
 

Just ordered Limewire, used a credit card, and put the wrong e-mail address. Therefore I cannot access what I have already paid for.

Are you sure you paid $18.88 from the official site & not from another site? Be sure about this. If you are, then send a pm to mformel. If you paid your money to another site then LW will not have any record of you & that issue should be sorted out immediately. Give mformel all your details: time & date of transaction, name, address, email, correct email, etc.

Thank you for your help. I used the hyperlink and told them my situation, and am hoping to get a response soon. I just recently got online and had no idea what the difference was in a "official web site" and one that wasn't. Okay, I still don't.....

Just hoping I didn't get scammed.

Well there are lots of scam sites out there. As long as you didn't pay your money anywhere else other than http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml then you should be ok.
