No Firewall?

When I have Limewire open, the little globe on the bottom left that shows whether it detects a firewall or not says that Limewire does not detect a firewall. However, I am 100% sure my router has a built in firewall, and I have it enabled. Whats the problem here? Thanks.

This is a good thing. Means that your router's set up properly! When the firewall icon shows, it means that a software firewall and/or modem/router firewall is causing a problem for LW:)

You'll know if a firewall has been detected if there's a brick wall in front of the globe. If not, then you're fine. Sometimes when you 1st open LW you may see this brick wall for a minute or so but it should disappear. If not, then see Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)
