![]() If you have a Windows password for logging into your computer and lost it then, you're on your own but, Limewire doesn't require one. All you have to do, if installed correctly, is click on the Limewire icon on your desktop. A little more detail is needed if that's not the problem. |

![]() You should probably know that the official version of Limewire doesn't use a password. You get it from www.limewire.com If you have got a version from somewhere else, there's no guarantee that it will work properly or that it will be free of spyware/adware. The basic version of LW is free. The Pro version costs US$18.88 for 6 months of updates & email support. Any other version is a scam. Here's some information on scams http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751 You can contact your bank or cedit card company, you may be able to get your money back. At least, keep watch on your card statements to make sure that no other payments are taken out. It's up to you whether you want to keep using a scam version of LimeWire. Personally, I wouldn't. ![]() |

![]() Where did you get your copy of Limewire? 30 dollars IS A Scam. I strongly suggest you cancel out that transaction, as Birdy stated, Pro is only 18.88 in US dollars. 6 months free upgrades. A hacked version may harm your computer. |
