some music files open wmp
 
i ripped one of my cd's into the same file tat i use for limewire using windows media player. i like having all my music in one folder and its convienient using the limewire player, but everytime i open one of the songs i ripped from the cd it automatically opens up wmp and i want it to play it through the lime wire player. any help!?

i appreciate the help

Go to LW's menu bar, then Tools>Options>Player & tick option, press apply. I think you may need to wait until you re-launch LW before the change happens I can't remember.

What program are you using to rip with?

The extension is unknown to me, normally when you rip a cd you are given a choise of what format do you want to rip to.

There are many programs out that do ripping and the one your useing I have no idea.

You have Window media, Nero, Real Player, Rahpsody, AudioStation, Musicmatch (very poor), there are others but the norm for ripping #1 is PCM, ie WAV, there mp3, mp4 or m4u (one in the same), aiff ect but the one you are ripping from ??????????
