Is Pro worth it?
 

Simple question :) Is Limewire Pro worth it? How much better is it then the free one?

I've heard if you had Windows it is, but if you have Mac it isn't, because you won't notice much of a difference (has to do with Java, I guess.)

I have DSL and XP home.
I used LW like most males .. movies( good and bad) and mp3( legal ones or to see if the cd is worth buying(not sure if thats wrong but im tried of paying 16$ for a crap cd))

Some times I dont get alot of results with the free LW. I use eDonkey2000 also and it gives me much more results but d/l speed is so slow. With DSL im getting 1-6 kb only.



Edit: Before I get flamed :) The mp3 I d/l to test I also del after hearing the songs. If they arnt good enough to buy, they arnt good enough to save:)

I have dsl and get d/l speeds up to 180KB/s. Like Only A Hobo said the money goes to help develop future versions of LW. It's a good app so I think it's worth it.
