Default Garbage Can icon in Quality column

Hi Limewire experts,

Can someone please explain what means the garbage can in the quality column? (ver 4.10.5)

Other than stars, are there any other icons the explanation of which I might be pointed to?

Thanks.

It means you have chosen to label it as a Junk file and that it did not give you what you wanted. There's also a "Junk Rating" column that shows the percentage of the LimeWire users that have labeled a file a "Junk File". To remove it, just select the file and click Not Junk.

OK! Thanks.

I see how I can set an item to "Not Junk" and I can see the optional "Junk rating" column.

I have not marked any items as "junk" so how did that happen in the first place?

Is that because a high percentage of users rated an item as junk (eg: 99%)?

I notice one can set Option -> Filter -> junk sensitivity. In my case that is set to about 1/3 the way from "Relaxed".

Thanks.

Probably by accident. You can do many things when you dont pay attention to your mouse clicks or your keyboard strokes.

No, the rating is your own personal rating. It is not shared, seen or aggregated to make any sort of distributed or centralised tracking or rating system of files. It is your private rating for what you give files.

If you would like limewire to "forget" all the junk statistics and ratings, you may do so by checking in the junk options and clicking "Forget Training Data"
