Allow http

It's either that or disable PG while you're using the forum & then enable it again after you finish!

Hey Birdy....
I thought it would be that so what if I allow HTTP will that effect anything else, does that disrupt what Peer gaurdian is about ???

You'll probably find that if you don't have http allowed, you'll have issues with bringing up lots of web pages. If http's blocked I can't log onto the TripeJ site

You're still going to see heaps of attempted connections being blocked, even if http's allowed. As for whether it's a really bad thing to have it allowed... I'm not too sure. Maybe someone like UK Bob is the person to ask for that

I have PMd UK Bob and told him I was starting the thread and his contribution would be great...

I have now allowed HTTP...

Will it still keep unwanted visitors out of your comp using p2p though???

It will keep heaps out! Check your logs now & see how many connections have been blocked since you allowed http
