just sometimes when i open the limewire program... all the icon to respective file types all change.

for example there should be a window media player icon for the audio file (according to my pc setting).... but instead, the icon same as the audio in the search pane shows up. it happens to the rest of file type as well.

in short, all the icon changes to the plain and simple one like in the search pane there. sometimes, i just have to restart the program to fix the situation... it is not disturbing, but just finding it not nice and weird....

is it the problem of using certain limewire skin?

could anyone explain on it? thanks

As long as your files are playing in the player you wish them to play in, you have no problem. The skin causing this .. posssibly not sure...

I understand the problem you have can be solved by deleteing your preference folder (which will require you to re-configure Limewire and may loose any long outstanding incomplete files)

I've been having the same problem. It doesn't seem to affect anything, it's just the icons. I haven't been able to figure it out but deleting LW pref folder seems to fix it, until the next time it happens.
