Simple question about limewire

This may seem stupid but I would like to know what the number is for in the lower left hand corner on limewire. It is in the green circle. What is it? Is it better if it's higher or lower? How can I change it to higher or lower? Thank-you in advance for any help.

The number in the lower left corner is the number of files you are sharing. In my opinion the higher the better:D . You can increase it by adding file to your share folder.
