i have a big problem with my limewire......ok my default audio/music player is my windows media player and for a while when i first had limewire all of the stuff it would find for searches would be fore media player


recently every search item that i get the realplayer icon is showing up instead and i have no idea why it is doing this, some1 please help me cuz its really pissin me off

This normally would happen because you have somehow made Realplayer your default player, or Limewire thinks for some reason that it is. I suggest you ignore the icons and rather enable the search window to show "type". To do this you may need to right click on the title bar of the search window and put a tick against type.

I believe you can get rid of the problem by deleting your Limewire preference folder whilst Limewire is fully closed, but this will mean you will have to reconfigure and may lose some older incompleted files.

You can try changing default audio back to wmp just in case; Setting default audio program But I don't think it will make any difference to LW until next time you open LW.

and yes hobo that actaully did work, i wus just getting mad because i didnt know if even though it showed it as real player it sill works on wmp
