Thanks for the reply.

Would you have any suggestions of how to improve one's search skills?

I've spent quite alot of time 'searching', especially in regards to DVD movies - and more often that not the movie title is not related to the movie content whatsover (porn being the major offender here). I know of the programs used to view movies before they're complete, but this seems to be a common occurance. And with such limited search results to begin with, my faith in LimeWire is dwindling. Please, any help whatsoever is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Cool dvd film searching

very few people have the system or the bravery (they are illegal you know) to hold and share films
only ever load films with an AVI extension and preferably DIVX in the name.
in fact try looking for "Divx" youll find a few
also note how many people have it - if its between 1 and 5 it'll probably be fake or trash quality. the best ones normally have about 20+ connections

picking one with loads of connections doesnt mean its busy it actually allows more machines to download the film at once
oh and if you havent got a divx player - get one - if you search
user 172189112196:51028 host thats a full working version

but i think its still free on the net check divx.com (i think)

Though I do not want to disbute your saying, I have quite some different experience. Many times that I download movies with just one host and have no problem at all (although it needs some time depending on the hosts internet connection -modem, cable, etc.). From a couple hundred I just had one which wasn't that good of a quality. Also with the porn thing, happened also only once to me, and another time the movie was actually different to the title.

Regarding the Divx, here would be a link to the free download: http://www.divx.com/divx/play/player/

However, you could also try the VLC player (often recommended here in the forum): http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Cheers
Mario

feel free to discuss friend...
and i would agree that you get some sparklng examples of films from the single user so i stand corrected in that regard.
ok,, ok,, lets say 2 - 5 (just a running theory that theres a little group causing deliberate problems)
and in the end, the experimental download can sometimes be the best!

Yeah, especially when you download a 'short-movie' with a Japanese header, just out of curiosity
