not about limewire- but need help

didn't know where else to ask, thought someone here may have a solution. I am trying to get a satellite connection from Nova Scotia. My two choices are "Home" and "Elizabeth" ISP's. But they both ask for a "key" in order to connect, what is this and where can I get a "key"??? Please help a newbie.
