Can Someone Please Help with my burning process and what im doing wrong?? I have downloaded songs from limewire. I moved them into my windows media player to burn...The name of the file was limewire...I burnt the cd, and I cant play it in my car stereo...what did i do wrong? It plays on my computer when I put it in, but not my car...Please Help |
If it's an old car stereo it might not support cd-r or cd+r. It should say so on the front, if not then look in the manual to see if it supports burned discs |
More on that point. Older car stereos (or many old stereo player set ups) tended not to like cd-r's burnt at high speeds. Instead, burn at minimum speed. If you only have high speed disks, it might be worth trying it out with a low speed one such as a 1-16 speed disk burnt at 1-4 speed. |
Yep, and perhaps try burnatonce (freeware). My Car is 6 years old, but plays any CD I burn, and I burn a LOT. butnatonce is available via Freeware World Team, But, watch this site, it's not very ethical, you'll probably get a nasty with it. Try to get it through its own site if you can. |
Do you mean this site http://www.burnatonce.com/index.htm?news Nice to see freeware alternative burner programs. |
