limewire problem?

i have been using limewire for a long time now, but the other day i went to open it and it opens but i cannot see anything in the window, its all grey. I tried re installing it but that hasnt worked. Any suggestions?

I just got limewire about a month ago. And the other day my aunt said that something screwy was going on but could not explain it. When I tried to download some new songs it keeps saying that it is still connecting and it wont let me find anything. What should I do?
