Limewire Access
 

I am interested to know how my computer connects to
the Limewire server. I am not allowed to use Limewire at
work- it is blocked by our server. Even though I don't
use Limewire there, I have recently noticed that
Limewire has been running in my icon tray anyway. I
know that Limewire will continue to try and complete
previously initiated downloads until they are
complete. What I want to know is: does Limewire simply
try to access the LW server or does it look for specific
files that were previously searched for? That is, does
it look for files by name when it tries to acces the
internet, or does it simply try to access the Limwire server?
