Documentation - sorely lacking I don't understand why LimeWire has such incomplete documentation. Writing it is much faster and easier than writing code. Here version 1.8b is released but when you go to the Features page, which promises to "track version changes", there is no mention of the new version, nor any mention of features dropped in 1.8. I also don't see any documentation for the chat feature, like how to make it work. The User Guide should be an organically growing document: every time someone asks a question that is not answered in it, the answer should be added, with a rich index to make all those answers easy to locate. |
