To make it so you dont use the Limewire Media player go to TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> PLAYER and uncheck the box that says "Use Limewire Media Player". I dont know how to do the other option you asked. sorry. ;)

musicdude123 - click on "Tools", then "Option". click tab "sharing" remove any folders that you see under "shared folders".

You don't get viruses from sharing. You get them by downloading, especially program/game files like exe or zip. See this post for more information: WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!.

If you don't share then your a freeloader which is a bad word on p2p. If you download from someone then you should return the favor and share with someone else.

open windows media player, then at the top of the screen click on tools. After that opens into a folder, find the library folder and click on that. After that opens, theres a box that says monitor folders, click on that and choose your limewire folder. And if that doesnt suite you, you can also while your in the main folder click on file types folder. Make sure that windows is your default player for the music type of files you want to open with it. Also if when in your limewire folder, if you click on the file you want to play, it should give you the option of open with:, then choose windows media player.:D
