Using Creative Commons on a Radio show

Hey all,

I run a pretty small online radio show, we put out our weekly for everyone to DL including podcasters. My question is : While searching through Limewire, am I allowed to use any song that has the CC (Creative Commons) mark next to it on my show?. Such as an intro or an break in the show. Am I able to do this without any trouble?

I use some Garageband.com songs, but im not sure about limewire..I did a small search for CC's and it even came up with songs from System of a down, black eyed peas and other famous bands..but it had the CC next to it.

Anyway any hints or info would be highly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure some CC material is not available for rebroadcast purposes. You might want to check the Internet Archives (www.archives.org), I know they host Berkley Radio and some others. They probably have the info you need.
