Files In Library I have noticed that some of the files in my library are in red while others are in black. Pls I would like to know the reason why this is so. Thanks:confused: |
Red means they're not being shared. Renaming files will also cause this. Also can if they are of a type you don't allow to share. Or of new downloads when you have set LW not to share downloads immediately. If any of the files in the incomplete folder are red, it has a different meaning. It means they have lost their association with their partner in the download window. |
More questions on my library Thank you for answering so promptly. Pls, I would like to know what LW is and also what to do about the incomplete files that have lost their association with their partners in the download window. |
LW is our short-cut abbreviation of LimeWire. It's faster to type! lol :D ;) There's not a lot you can do about incompletes in red other than select them & press the Resume button. But make sure you haven't already downlded any of them. Sometimes LW starts downlding from one incomplete, but then another day or even the same day creates another incomplete of the same name & downlds that one instead (most likely from a different source/host.) Sometimes I've had 4-5 of the same file in red. I've also found sometimes I've already downlded that file. So I just delete those in red of that same file/filename. |

files in library Most of the files in my library are in alphabetical order, but some are not. There are a few above the alphabetized list in no order and I want them alphabetized with the rest. How do I get the few rogue files to comply? webblock |
