I'm using the latest version of Nero7 and am having no such issues...

maybe you need to visit windows update and bring your OS up to date..

other than you perhaps are NOT using the very latest version of Nero7, NO...no other ideas...

hate to say it, but my usual 'response' to this type of problem is to ignore it for a while, then reformat my drive and do a clean install of everything...which isn't so much of a PITA as I reformat and reinstall about 2x a year anyways

AFAIK the earliest Nero 7 had some bugs with something ... not sure whether it was software or compatibility issues with certain burners. But later updates will give you later burner softw. versions & bug fixes.

Also .. making sure your burner firmware is up to date. Later firmware means better compatibility with new definitions of CD/DVD media including better & more reliable burn speeds.
