Can't share?
 

When I check to see if I am sharing under the monitor tab there is never anyone there. I have so many really good movies. I have posted my personal media drive where they are as a shared file/area but no one. When I first started with lime wire people did seem to share those files I downloaded. So I put in many of my movies to share.
Now I don't seem to be sharing even the ones I got from limewire. I can still GET movies but no go on sharing. At least per the monitor tab. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated. I do disable Nroton while I use Limewire in the hopes to share. Thank you.

You should not disable your firewall ... configure it so it allows LW full access. But only keep one firewall active; Firewall configuration instructions (click on link), or for Norton see Configuring Norton Internet Security

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? (see sample image attachment below)

If you want to increase opportunities of sharing, enable Partial File Sharing in your Sharing options.

Go to LW's Library window, select one of your shared folders & look to the columns to the right. Look under Hits & Uploads columns. Hits shows those files have been found in other peoples searches for whatever reason. Uploads shows uploads be they partial or full.
