i am having problems. i deleted Limewire, or so i thought, 2 reinstall it cause i was experiencing problems. when i go 2 reinstall it, it says that there is an older version running. idk what 2 do. can some1 please help. thanx

Restart your computer, then press Ctrl & Alt and press Delete. The task manager should appear. Click the Processes tab and look if the LW exe is running (or the Java exe) click on it once and then click End Process. A warning window will pop up. Click yes. Then try to reinstall LW.......

my friend came over and he told me the same thing. i still have a prob 'cause, for some reason, i dont have task manager anymore. thanx anyways.

That sounds for me like a virus is preventing you from reaching the task manager. Did you check your system for any intruders??
