Limewire PRO--legal?
 

If you pay the 18.88 for Limewire pro, is it legal to download files? I've tried to find this answer everywhere with conflicting results. Some people say it is still illegal and some say it is legal.

The use of the software & the network is legal. It depends on what you download & share as to whether that's legal or not & this also depends upon your country's laws. If you downld copyright material then you risk breaching local laws. It's not illegal in my country but is in a number of other countries in different variations.

If you were from America then it would come under USA copyright laws. And yes you could risk problems if you downlded & shared large quantities of copyright material. You'll need to investigate these laws yourself.
