![]() Lately I've been seeing a lot of spoofed spam files in Limewire results. Search for popular terms in limewire and you'll see what I mean. the #1 result is 'GET A NEW IPOD'. If you try to click on it, it forces open a browser window and takes you to http://buylegalmp3.com/. Is there any way to avoid these fake files? How is it that Limewire allows spammers to open up my browser from within the application? This sort of thing could easily be used to spread trojans and exploits that work off of IE vulnerabilities. Has anyone else noticed this? -Editied to remove specific artist names Last edited by dogburp; June 19th, 2006 at 01:22 PM. |
