| Who is your ISP? (internet service provider) If that's their approach then find another ISP (wait till your contract completes.) If no options, then the best would be to use proxies. But you need to search long & hard for numbers that work. And even may need to change from time to time afaik. A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 - 3 which have links to alternative instructions. eg: Tor is supposed to be a good one. But there's many others. (Edit: This is the 2nd thread in a row birdy has beaten me to an answer within 2 mins. of posting.) |

| My ISP is Ygnition. After I posted I started researching this and started reading about how this seems to be a problem with a lot of ISP's....I guess I was just so ticked off that I didn't stop to look before I posted. Unfortunately, the apartment complex that I live in limits who I can use for ISP's, so I don't have a choice on who I get to use. * sigh * I read about the proxies, but don't know much about this stuff and and I'm kind of confused by all of it....I guess I could just mess around with it, but I'm scared I'm going to ***** something up. |
