Can anyone tell how I can eliminate the Limewire acceleration patch box from popping up on my screen every 5 minutes? Also, does the acceleration patch really enable me to download any faster.
Downloading: When I download a new artist I can download about 5 songs. After that I really have to work hard. Keep getting need sources!!! Sometimes if I look up the specific song in Search I can download it then. Does everyone else have this frustration??

Where did you get LW from? LW does NOT offer an acceleration patch. And all 3rd party patches that claim to do that have been poor failures & scams. Only get your LW from here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml which is FREE for the Basic version!!!

Thank you for your reply. When I went originally to limewire.com it asked me about paying for a lifetime membership. I paid a total of 47.29 to mp3downloadhq.com. When I called to get better service (faster downloads and more sources) they told me to download the accelerator from support@mp3musichq.com. Is this just another scam??
What about the limewire Pro which keeps popping up also? Is it official or just another scam??
Should I cancel everything and download again? How do I do that and how do I get rid of the accelerator? If the limewire is not official then why does it work. It is version4.12.3. Thanks.

The popup window means you didn't purchase LW pro but only LW Basic which is FREE. You will find that site you went to on the well known scam site list here: Known Scam Sites (click on link)

My advice is to try to get our money back asap. See get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members) & also apply thru your credit card/bank company to speak directly with their fraud section.
