Angry Finding Out What To Download :confused:

Help! I recently downloaded a big video, but I can't open it, so i'm really ! I want to know what type of file to download for my computer... I got a windows XP... help, please1

You can downlaod any file from the network (though be careful with .zip, .rar, .exe files). The question is what program you need to view them (after you've scanned them with your up-to-date Virus scanner).
For movies (and any other media file) I'd recommend using the free VLC media player with built-in codecs. It can play almost any media file and it is very stable:

i have windows xp to and the movie files that have always worked for me were the mpg or mpeg movies
