I never actually sat there and timed it, a couple of hours is an estimate in total time for 2 to 3 files...

It take about the amount of time that you want to put on the disk. Like if you have 1 1/2 hour you want to put on the dvd, it will take about that amount of time to encode it, but a short time to burn it. Be sure to use a 4.7G dvd-r disk to burn it for bedst result.
