There was nothing wrong with the way foolofthehill edited your post. You're right that people are allowed to have their say here but there is no need to use the language that you used. You can still get your point across without cursing and swearing the way you did in your post.

Btw, did it ever occur to you that the person you were downloading from could've had internet problems at the time you were downloading this file and the connection was cut off?

It was me! I sat there vigorously watching your download for 8 hours just waiting.. waiting.. 97%....98%.... 99% .. then HA! I cancelled the download! HAHAHA "I bet he's mad now!" I said aloud, whilst thinking "You really are an evil genius, Ed."

Seriously.. there's more to life. Get over it. Chances are on such a large file it's going to be on 99% for a while. Anything could have happened in that time like CyberStalker said, connection trouble, turning the PC off, anything, not even knowing you were downloading that file.

I love these kind of useless rants. Did you ever realize that some users have a life and that they dont care about what you're downloading? Some do, do it on purpose, others have a thing called a life and a timezone. Instead of being a loser and a leech, why dont you go buy what you're downloading? and do us a favor and STFU?

Also, there is a thing called bandwidth when the bandwidth gets used up the download will most likely stop either in the middle of it or even at the end, when a download stops even at 99 percent, I am able to resume it in Limewire, I suggest you do the same. Why not read if you know how? some of the forum stickys instead of ranting? The stickys will have all kinds of info on this subject I'm sure. Its the users that control Gnutella, NOT Limewire or this forum.

Well, I could have told him that his download might be complete and there is just a problem with the percentage display (happened already to me), or the the missing 1% or less is just about the included actors and producers of the file. Yeah, I could have even told him to view the file with the free VLC player which can play files even if they are not rendered just opening them directly from the Incomplete folder.
But somehow yesterday, that user had already been the third (two via posts and one via PM) coming here screaming and yelling at us using foul language they would not dare to use when their mothers were in the room.
So I thought to myself, "Just kiss my small beautiful a** and figure your problem out by yourself........ .....fair enough, don't ya think??
