I just got finish reading most of the FAQ and user notes. I would like to say, "I'm SORRY". I haven't been a very good user, but I hope to get better. I hope that when I go from my 31.2k connection speen to a cable modem and leave my machine on that I will start to become a better member. Please, if you have any helpfull information on becoming a better member I would love to hear it.

Also, I have been trying to ripp my dvd's, but I'm not having any luck. I've down loaded DVD2Mpg, but it doesn't seem to want to be doing the job. Any program suggestions or hints?

I'll be up and running with the higher bandwidth on Dec 4th or 5th.

If you are trying to convert a dvd to an avi or mpg, most people use Flask. Its the best program I've used and it does a good (although time consuming) job. What I usually do is use a program called DeCSS which will rip the dvd onto your harddrive (takes about 8gigs of space) and then i will compress it using flask. it reduces my times from about 10 hours to about 4! I think the program was made illegal, but you might be able to find it somewhere. Try <A href="http://astalavista.box.sk">astalavista.box.sk</A>. They have a bunch of illegal stuff (scan for viruses first cause it's a hacker site). If you can't find it and you want it, the file is only 124k unzipped, so I can email it to you. Too bad they don't allow people to attach zip files to the post. Hope this helps
