Try this link: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files. It's on a different forum. I found it through Only A Hobo's post here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...37&postcount=5 |
Help Meee i have a similar problem. ok i got videos from limewire that are mp4. and i tried to drag them to my itunes and it wont show up! and i also tried to import the video files and it still doesnt do anything why is it not showing up?? PLEASEEEE HELLPP ME! |
Some people have trouble with drag & drop to iTunes...don't know why. Are you dragging from the LW library or from your saved folder? Try doing it from the saved folder & see how you go. Otherwise in iTunes file > add file to library > browse for your saved folder & add from there. This sticky has lots of info, about video as well as music;) Transferring music to iPod & iTunes |
i'm having a big problem with limewire and itunes. more so with limewire. i downloaded some .mp4 movies but how do i know if it really is the right one to watch on my ipod? also, how do i know what file size i should use? please help!!!!! also, is it possible that when i look for a particular movie, to just get the right one to use for the ipod video? i don't want to download say "******" and get a porn movie in its place. __________________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. Roughly, a movie will be around 600-700 MB. Always check a video file with Bitzi before download. If the file's been rated then you'll get some idea of it's quality & content. If the file hasn't been rated but you want to chance it, preview the download after about 10%;) Movies in mpeg4 & H264 format will transfer to iPod. You can download other formats & then convert them to the right format for iPod...but for that you'll need a converter program. If you search the forum for video to iPod, you'll find lots of threads & more info. |
I tried everything. I tried draging it over from Limewire library, saving and adding it as a new file, and importing it; it just doesnt show up. |
