Why can't I access LimeWire Pro support? Hello... I would have sent a email to the Tech Support via LimeWire Pro but...well read on... 3 years ago I purchased LimeWire Pro (for $9.50 if you can believe it!). I still have the CD somewhere and I also still have the sales email sent to me as reciept to my old email (about 3 email addresses ago). Now- my question is...is my PRO still good? My version is 3.2.1 (July 2003). I would LIKE to upgrade but it is telling me (and when I tried to contact cust. service online as well) that the email address I used to purchase Pro is not a valid LimeWire PRO Email address. *as it is...that email address was canceled when I left Colorado- I don't think there was/is an option to change email addresses for LimeWirePro.) Am I to assume that the 9.50 was only for a specific length of time... like- one year? Do I now have to pay AGAIN the 18.88? (I'm still amazed I have it on here and could connect :eek: ) Many thanks |
When you buy LW Pro, you also get email support & free updates for 6 months. There's no way your email address would still be in the database after 3 years:D If you want to update Pro, you'll have to buy again http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml If you love your old Pro (not trying to be funny but it was, eh?), make sure that you still keep the old installer. :wink: |
