I agree it hasn't been working. That means when I press Chat no window appears at all. That's if I'm trying to reach a LW. I found it does work to reach Bearshare. So what's wrong with talking about some rare music you're sharing.

Im taking it,that you are using 4.12.6. can you confirm that for me.
If so it means the CHAT is not completely dead on that version just SICK.

As far as Rare music goes,If you've checked its not coppyright protected then you can mention it. otherwise! please dont mention,or you will be contributing to the shut down of these forums.
If anyone can confirm they can Chat to BearShare people that will be constructive, KEEP COMUNICATION OPEN.

I never got to a conversation stage tho.
Actually just today my chat panel DID appear for a LW. No response again.

There are other little bugs I could mention sometime.

I try to stick with decades-old stuff which noone is selling. Not "licenced" right? Sometimes the title is same as some current hit but it's not the same song. Enough said.

Just today I had a two-way conversation with a bearshare in Poland (I,m Canada).
Also was able to send a message to LW version 4.9.37 Pro (no reply).

Tip to developer: As soon as I bring up the panel it appears to the other person, before I've written and sent. This makes them think nothing's happening and they close - not available.
