I'm trying to copy the tracks to a CD but it never works...It always says the file extension is wrong...How do I change it from M3U to MP3 so I can listen to them in the car and such...

I should state I have the basic and not got Pro yet...

I did a search and can't find what I need to know I have Nero cd burning software...I can't figure out how to get the songs from the limewire library list to the computer without it saving in a M3U format...

You'll have to add the songs from your LW saved folder. m3u files are just playlist files...they don't actually contain any music. Check out RaaF's sticky below

You'll have to copy or move files from your saved folder, not the LW library. Within LW tools > options > saving will show you the location of the saved folder. By default it's C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Shared.
If you go to the library, click on Saved Files then click Explore...your saved folder will open & you can copy or move files from there

Check out the screenshots in the sticky...you'll see another way of getting to your saved folder.
