Downloading Game 2Cds Problem
 

ok i downloaded a game its an iso file and its 2 parts cd1 i gotta download and theres a cd 2. now when installing this game the install bar like when it gets to like 68% done it says please insert disk 2. im like HOW?! i try clicking ok because i downloaded both of them but it keeps coming up please insert disk 2. can someone tell me how to get it to work. or should i specify what game i was downloading?

Use PowerISO and make two virtual drives. Then mount 1 cd on each.

nope. Mounting and burning are two completely different things. I have had the same problem and fixed it like that.

you don't even need 2 virtual drives...just unmount cd1 at that point, mount cd2, and go...this is the way you would do it with the real cds and one drive on your system

ok im installing it now and and this came up some setup options on the left a bunch of checkable boxes what do i do with that and top right corner theres a number of drives so i put it on 2?

no i dont have real cds i dl it from limewire

and it says i have to reboot my computer!? i do!?!?

WAAASHAAAH i saw i have two inside my computer now . i can fix that once i am done right!?:bangh: :bangh:

and i went to the mount icon put cd1 in the first and cd2 in the second ..now what do i do?

and before i tried to post an image of what it showed me ..how come none of them would work?

Doh....Install it :rofl: Wasn't that the plan from the start. Or have I got this whole thread wrong.

Go to the drive where you mounted CD 1 and find the install file. Then double click it.

A few two CD games will not install right by just using one VD. I had the same problem as this guy once.

when i try to start the game it says "please ensure the disc is in the drive and select ok and restart the application :(

so then try it first with cd2 in your virtual drive, then cd1 if that don't work (cd2 is usually the 'verefication' cd..and as a note you get far better performance when you have the ISO file located on a totally different HDD..so if you have 2 HDDs in your box, move the needed ISO image there, and play the game that way)

You need a no CD crack. Use google to find out more. It would be against the forum rules to explain this to you.

HDD = Hard Disc Drive

and you prolly need to follow Sleepless' advice as I bet your CD images don't have the correct naming so that the program when in use recognizes it when mounted....

Hmm. Never actually tried going back to one drive. I guess uninstalling PowerISO would do the trick.

uninstalling poweriso will make it work?;)
i went to download a no cd crack or whatever you said wit .torrent blargh but it said file already exists
