Limewire Installer Has anyone had the problem where (in the install process) it says downloading from 0 of around 800 sources? Why does the 0 never change to a 2? I'd even settle for a 1, but at everytime of the day there seems to be many sources, so why no download? |
Because those are most likely faked files... Read here how to recognize such files: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...98&postcount=4 :Smilywais: |
Ya, that didn't help, this is an installer problem, not a download file problem...... I clicked the 'Download' button on the Limewire web-site.... I got the installer, but it doesn't install... Thats my problem... |
Simple, go back to the download location & instead choose the "Offline" installer version which is the so-called unprefered option. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml However, I would highly recommend you use the add/remove control panel to remove all Java versions & then install the latest version using the "Offline" Java installer which is about a 16 MB download file: Java 1.5 (take the JRE) |
