Junk Filter Why is it like this? All the best files are marked as junk? I usually find exactly what I'm looking for in the junk section |
You have to train the thing to your preferences & sometimes it takes a while. It's a matter of having to relabel the junked files that you think are good, as 'not junk'...you might have to do this a few times. Check out the thread below. It's got some good tips & info Junk Filter |
The thing is, I never marked any files yet as junk. Why should I have to do extra work if I didnt do anything? |
Beats me... it should only show junk according to your preferences:confused: I guess you could try 'forget training data' & apply. Or change the sensitivity. If you've never labelled anything as junk then I don't know how it's recognising 'junk'. You could also try deleting your preferences folder while LW's closed (points 2 & 3 below) Fixes for LimeWire Then search for a file that you know displayed lots as junk before & see how the results look. Someone else might know more... |
How about a page that comes up at the beginig of start called LATEST,Confirmed Bad file list, (Delete them Dont share them) + an archive to check against. Da1, is dead right, I create files from tape (Original) ,then report them at Bitzi straight away as real. Two days later they are in the junk and I dont mark files as junk. What about all them poor people that ticked the box too not show junk in search resolts, they must be getting almost nothing as 70% of the reported junk files are of good Quality. Hey!!! Its Re think time, its doing the opposet to what it was made for. |
