Save space?

I was wondering if it's possible to move songs into a USB flash drive directly after downloading? I don't know if this even makes any sense in the first place (I'm computer illiterate), but I need some way of saving space. I only have 18.6 GB of space on my (crappy) computer and I know I will download a lot of music.
